In this 9-episode fourth season, Swansea University academics explain how their pioneering research is addressing global challenges.
In the coming months, listeners can tune in to episodes featuring academics spanning diverse disciplines. These experts will share their enthusiasm for their research, discuss their experiences in teaching students, and talk about their collaborations with partners.
Each episode offers insights into how their research positively impacts people's lives and fuels their achievements with this season also featuring a Welsh language episode with volcano expert Dr Rhian Meara.
Regular presenter Dr Sam Blaxland is returning to the series which kicks off on 7th May with Associate Professor in International Relations, Dr Luca Trenta, who will be uncovering how some states use covert action, with a spotlight on the US Government involvement in state-sponsored assassinations. Spanning the time period from the Cold War through to contemporary times, Dr Trenta will unearth the intricate dimensions of these clandestine operations.
