Applications for most of our postgraduate taught programmes can be made online through our Apply portal. Some courses have a different application process:
- Full-time applications for our professional courses in Law must be submitted via the Central Applications Board (CAB):
- MSc Social Work, MSc Physician Associate Studies, PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) and MBBCH Medicine (Graduate Entry): Applications must be submitted via UCAS.
- MA Sports Ethics and Integrity – please apply via KU Leuven, Belgium
Postgraduate application process:
- Choose the course you want to apply for - search our postgraduate taught A-Z
- Check the entry requirements for the course on the relevant course page.
- Make sure you have all your supporting documents ready – see our ‘document checklist’ below. Your application may be delayed or withdrawn if you fail to provide all the required documents.
- Apply online
- Once you've submitted your application, you'll receive an email which contains your student number. This must be kept in a safe place and used in all future correspondence with us.
- Your application will be considered by the relevant selection team. We’ll be in touch if any further information is needed.
- We try to make a decision on your application as quickly as possible. If you have fully completed your application form and submitted the required supporting documents, this will normally be within 9 working days. Please note that Swansea University is currently experiencing large increases in applications. Although we are delighted so many of you want to study with us in Swansea, it does mean that application processing may take longer than usual.
- You will receive an email when a decision has been made on your application. If your application has been accepted, you can view the offer letter and University Terms and Conditions and respond immediately.
