I’m Lithuanian but I grew up in London. I spent my year abroad at California State University, Bakersfield.
The experience was life changing, as cliché as that would sound. It challenged me by pushing my beliefs and perspectives, both academically and in my personal life.
The experience gave me the freedom to study subjects that I wouldn’t have had the chance to study in the UK and meet people that have become like family. I highly recommend it.
