Important information

ACADEMIC YEAR: The academic year in Poland runs roughly from October to June. Exact dates will vary between universities. 

VISAS: You will require a study visa for Poland. As part of the visa application, you will need to provide evidence of adequate financial resources to cover the cost of living and more information will be provided by your host university once accepted. There can be significant delays so please do not leave this until the last minute as you cannot travel to Poland without it. 

HEALTH INSURANCE: You will need to purchase mandatory health insurance for your time in Poland. You cannot use Swansea University's travel cover as a substitute for this. Your host university will provide more information on this. The cost of insurance will vary between universities.
