"I contribute to the delivery and design of teaching material on the circular economy to undergraduates, postgraduates and for executive education in the School of management in Cardiff Metropolitan University. I am part of the delivery team for WEFO’s funded programme ‘Circular Economy Innovation communities’. I am particularly interested in understanding the mechanisms that lead to an effective diffusion of sustainable practices in the public sector and businesses, investigating the geography of innovation and the role of policy in promoting local and regional development. Current research interests include investigating why regions show different patterns in the emergence of renewable energy systems and in the implementation of Circular Economy, particularly how circular economy principles can be re-framed at different spatial levels (e.g. cities and regions)."

“My field of research is involved with the environmental supply chain dynamic analysis of payment technologies and further evolution. During the first two years, I have been developing a systems thinking process improvement approach to determine and analyse innovation, risk, and resiliency factors within all the payment system stakeholders (i.e. Banks, Retailers, Payment Providers). This involves a holistic capability analysis of the organizations involved in the system using Natural Processing Languages techniques to analyze the companies’ strategic reports and find their alignment with sustainability, resilience or other initiatives.”
