I am a theoretical physicist working in the field of string theory and field theory. I am mostly interested in the interplay between gauge field theories and string theory.

My most recent works are on three dimensional Quantum Chromodynamics and its realisation in string theory, on either a brane configuration or via holography.

PH-335 Particle Physics II

This module presents the structure of the standard model of particle physics and reviews current experimental developments.
PH-M04 Advanced Particle Physics

The first part of course examines the Dirac equation in relativistic quantum mechanics and its use in the context of quantum field theory. The second part of the course develops in some details the physics of two recent advances in particle physics (the discovery of neutrino oscillations and of the Higgs particle) and their importance in the context of the Standard Model of particle physics.
