Cerin Brain joined Swansea University in April 2024 as a Research Assistant in the Diabetes Research Group, in Swansea University Medical School. She is involved in the development of innovative devices designed for diabetes management at the point of care, and is actively involved in laboratory analyses.
Currently, Cerin is pursuing her PhD, focusing on the effects of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on glucose control in overweight individuals and those with pre-diabetes. Her research aims to contribute valuable insights that can enhance patient care and improve health outcomes.
