About

Dario Debowicz holds a DPhil in Economics from the University of Sussex, and works in the area of Applied Development Economics and Political Economy. Dr Debowicz has designed and delivered training in economic modelling, microsimulations and database construction at various Universities and research institutes in developing countries for the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in collaboration with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, and has worked for the DFID-funded International Research Initiative on Brazil and Africa, which involved a series of Universities from different parts of the world. Dr Debowicz is presently working on the link between electoral systems and income distribution in the presence of inequality concerns, and has published in the Journal of Economic History, the Journal of Policy Modelling and the Journal of Economic Modelling, among others.
