Dr Dilshad Jahan is a lecturer in Economics at the School of Management at Swansea University. Dilshad has obtained her PhD in Economics from Heriot-Watt University in 2016. She did her MSc in International Finance from University of Dundee with distinction, and MSS and BSS in Economics from University of Dhaka.
Dilshad’s research interest includes macroeconomics, monetary economics, the role of financial development in economic growth. Her PhD investigated exchange rate pass through, classifications of monetary policy regimes, and the relationship between economic growth and financial development across a diverse range of countries.
Dilshad is interested in supervising PhD students in areas of macro, monetary policy and international economics.
