Chenfeng Li FLSW, Professor of Civil Engineering, is internationally recognized for his pioneering research in engineering computation, data analytics, uncertainty quantification, and risk assessment. He has developed innovated computational solutions to tackle technical challenges across diverse engineering domains, including civil infrastructure, materials science, manufacturing, and energy sectors. His profound expertise is highly sought after by leading organizations in infrastructure and construction, such as ARUP, Costain, Bauer, Soletanche Bachy, among others. The impact of his research is evidenced by significant contributions to industrial guides and large-scale industrial applications. Within Swansea University, he serves as the Co-director for the Zienkiewicz Institute for Modelling, Data and AI. Additionally, he serves as a Non-executive Director for the trade organization Temporary Works Forum and the Editor-in-Chief of Engineering Computations.

EG-M38 DESIGN AND ANALYSIS FOR TEMPORARY WORKS

The course is part of our full-time MSc programmes for Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, and is also available for external professional learners to take as a standalone CPD module.

The CPD learners will have full access of the module contents in the same way as the fulltime students. Swansea University will issue a CPD certificate to each external student at the end of the course.
