Dr Jodie Croxall is an Associate Professor, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and Director of the BSc Population Health and Medical Sciences programme. Before embarking on an academic career, Jodie worked in a variety of health and social care settings, including the NHS Hospitals, Social Services and Third Sector Organisations. Jodie then held a number of research positions in Swansea University, including the Centre for Social Work and Social Care Research, the Centre for Innovative Ageing and the Health Information Research Unit. These experiences provided Jodie with a unique insight into the complex range of factors that influence health and wellbeing. Since gaining a lectureship in 2010, Jodie has led on the design, implementation and delivery of a number of undergraduate and post-graduate programmes, and now leads on key Quality Assurance and Enhancement activities, including Deputy Chair of the University’s Programme Approval Committee, and Co-Employability Director for the Medical School.
