About
I am currently working as a research officer on the SAGE study (Scoping the Accessibility of Safer Gambling Information in the United Kingdom Armed Forces: A Pilot Evaluation Study). The study was funded by a grant obtained by Professor Simon Dymond, Matt Fossey, and Justyn Larcombe. The study will involve surveying and interviewing armed forces personnel, affected others and health care professionals to capture data related to gambling and mental health; and evaluating a screening, brief intervention and referral tool for problem gamblers in the armed forces.
My previous research has focussed on common mental health problems and opioid use disorder (OUD), including the use of routine data to study health service use by decedents of opioid overdose.
