Virginia Beckerman is a Senior Children’s Lecturer in the Nursing Department and the School of Health and Social care. Before moving into tertiary education in 2021, Virginia had spent the previous 19 years working in a variety of acute and community settings in Australia and the UK, with roles including clinical nurse specialist in accident and emergency and clinical nurse consultant for after-hours care. Virginia’s role involves lecturing and mentoring preregistration children’s nurses and facilitating their simulation training.
