Yina Liang is a Lecturer in Accounting at the School of Management, Swansea University, a position she has held since September 2023. Before this, she was an Assistant Professor at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics for three years. She earned her PhD in Accountancy from the University of Exeter in 2019. She also holds an MSc in Economics, Accounting, and Finance from the University of Bristol and a BSc in Banking and Finance from Monash University, Australia.
Yina welcomes research proposals from exceptional and motivated potential PhD candidates. She is particularly interested in supervising research topics broadly related to, but not limited to, pension accounting, earnings management, ESG, and other areas within corporate finance.
