Funding for the shorter duration programme (16 days) is only available to Nursing and Midwifery students
Estimated cost to student: Approximately £1000 per student or Approximately £600 per WP eligible student
This is based on an overall estimated cost of £3,095
- Programme cost for 16 days: £1595 which includes
- airport pick up
- resort stay
- accommodation
- food
- Estimated additional costs: £1500 which includes:
- assumed flight cost - £1500
- you may incur additional costs not listed above
Estimated additional costs were sourced in November 2023 and may decrease/increase. Students may need to pay additional costs which are not outlined above. All of the above figures are estimates and are subject to change.

Additional information
- We do not recommend making any financial commitments to your chosen programme until you have received funding confirmation and further guidance from Swansea University.
- You will be responsible for paying the non-refundable registration fee of £195 directly to Think Pacific.
- If you fail to participate in the entire programme, you will be required to return any funding received and will be responsible for repaying the Think Pacific programme cost to Swansea University
- Information on fundraising to help with costs can be found on the Think Pacific website
- If you are granted funding, the programme cost of £1400 will be paid from your allocated funding direct to Think Pacific. You will receive the remaining balance of your total funding awarded at the start of the programme once arrival in Fiji has been confirmed by Think Pacific. It is important that you factor this into your budgeting.
