The module provides a contemporary curriculum that meets the needs of industry in the 21st century, by underpinning each topic within the digital context within which the business is situated. The module introduces the students to three main topic areas: the first provides an overview of the management functions within the context of the digital age, it then explains the importance of managing big data, data, information, knowledge as well as processes, to enhance competitive advantage, and lastly addresses the key leadership and management issues faced within the digital age.
