The Service Centre has been developed by ServiceNow and is run by Swansea University. We want as many people as possible to be able to use the Service Centre, feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • Zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen.
  • Skip to main content on the website.
  • Use screen readers.
  • Adjust text spacing without affecting layout or usability.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible Service Centre is?

Service Centre was developed by ServiceNow, evaluated externally and by our internal specialist, and both certify Service Centre is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. The platform has a limited number of non-compliances resulting in it being assessed as partially compliant.

We know some parts of Service Centre aren't as accessible as they should be:

  • HTML markup is not used to recognised standard with use of ARIA attributes which may impact screen readers.
  • Some browsers and device combinations (chrome on Apple devices) affect keyboard navigation with the navigation menu; this affects all pages.
  • The “My favorites” page requires horizontal scrolling on some devices.
