International Nursing Applicants

By choosing to study Adult Nursing at Swansea, you are choosing to join a highly respected and well-ranked nursing course. Swansea Nursing is ranked in the Top 10 in the UK for Nursing (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024) and 1st in the UK Career Prospects (The Guardian 2024), as well as being the largest provider in Wales. We have more than 25 years of experience in healthcare training and education. 
 
Our 3-year Adult Nursing degree is internationally recognised and also accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK. You will learn the holistic needs of people from early adulthood through to old age and develop the professional skills to provide high-quality nursing care in a range of clinical and community settings.

Funding Options

There are two funding options available for this course. There are 20 fully-funded places available on this course for eligible international students who choose to study in Wales and commit to working in Wales for 2 years following completion of the course. Alternatively, students may also apply to the course on a self-funded basis. Offers for funded places are allocated on a selective basis, taking into account a range of factors including but not limited to academic achievements, work experience, performance at interview and a range other aspects.
 
  • Applications for fully funded places for March 2025 entry point have now closed.
  • Applications for self-funded places in March 2025 have now closed.
  • Applications for September 2025 will open on 1st January 2025 and close on 31st January 2025.
