NOTE – if you do not meet the above requirements your application will not be considered.
CAS REQUIREMENTS
- Obtaining your CAS
International students applying for a Student Route Visa will need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) statement, issued by the University.
After you have been made an offer to study with Swansea University, you will receive an invitation to access our ‘CAS Shield’ online self-service system. All information requested for your CAS application should be uploaded to the CAS Shield system. The information required will depend on your personal circumstances. Please ensure you respond promptly to help us process your CAS in good time for your visa application and arrival in Swansea before the start of your course.
- Deposit deadlines
After receiving and accepting an offer to study with Swansea University, all self-funded International students are required to pay a deposit. Please ensure your deposit payment has cleared by the published deadline. We strongly recommend you pay your deposit as early as possible to avoid potential CAS and Visa delays.
