Outstanding International Impact of Research and Innovation Award
Since 2014, Swansea University has awarded research excellence through its annual Research and Innovation Awards. The awards recognise the quality, relevance and positive global impact of Swansea University’s research and its potential to inspire.
In 2022, AMBER was nominated in for “Outstanding International Impact of Research and Innovation”. There was strong competition from the other finalists in this category, but AMBER was declared the winner!
Continued recognition of AMBER’s research, almost two years after the end of the project, clearly demonstrates how impactful the work of the AMBER consortium has been and that it continues to influence decision making in river restoration across Europe.
