Swansea University has played a key role in helping Swansea become the first UK city to introduce ‘liquid trees’ to every primary school, educating pupils on climate change and creating a healthier learning environment.

We are thrilled to have collaborated with Mark Douglas on the innovative Liquid Trees Project. This groundbreaking project combines cutting-edge science with the natural world, introducing students in Swansea to the fascinating world of bioscience.

Through hands-on experiments and interactive learning experiences, the project aims to ignite a passion for science and inspire the next generation of researchers. By exploring the properties of natural products and their potential applications, students are able to see firsthand the impact of science on the world around them.
