About The Role

Swansea University is looking, in the first instance, to appoint a Head of Online Learning, as a six-month fixed-term interim position, to assist in establish the project and develop a detailed budget and to set up an Online Learning Unit to develop and deliver the portfolio of online programmes and courses. The University then expects to make a permanent appointment to lead the Online Learning Unit.

This is a fixed term position for 6-month duration initially (with the potential for extension).

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
