Dr Dafydd Cotterell has been honoured with a Best Paper in Conference Award at the recent Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) annual conference in Sheffield, UK. 

This accolade is particularly noteworthy as his submission was selected from over 225 entries, highlighting the exceptional quality and impact of his research. Dr Cotterell also won a Best Paper in Track Award for his paper submitted to the Networks, Innovation and Policy Track at ISBE 2024.

The award-winning paper was a collaborative effort, co-authored by Professor Paul Jones and Professor Louisa Huxtable-Thomas from the School of Management, and Dr Robert Bowen from Cardiff Business School. The research presented in the paper is derived from Dr Cotterell’s PhD thesis, which he recently completed at the School of Management under the expert supervision of Professors Jones, Huxtable-Thomas, and Dr Bowen.
