The Carbon Emission Reduction Pilot Programme Awards took place on Tuesday, 14th March, to celebrate the achievements of the businesses participating in the programme.
Dr Fern Davies, Senior Lecturer in strategy and corporate social responsibility, and the Sustainability Lead for Swansea University School of Management, presented at these awards alongside Robert Lloyd-Griffiths OBE, Chair of Business Wales Task and Finish Group and Director for the ICAEW in Wales.
“As the sustainability lead for Swansea University School of Management it was a pleasure to present at the Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme (AGP) Carbon Emission Reduction awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of participating businesses and interns.
Thank you to Morwenna Tyler and Simeon Smith from our employability team for providing students with this valuable internship opportunity, Richard Morris and his team from the Business Wales AGP and to Dr Paul G Davies for his involvement. It is clear to see how programmes such as this contribute significantly to students, higher education institutions, businesses, communities and ultimately towards the long-term prosperity of Wales.” Dr Fern Davies
