Why I Chose Swansea University
I chose Swansea University for my undergraduate degree because of its excellent research faculty, prime location, and welcoming atmosphere. The theoretical physics course stood out as a well-respected degree taught by leading experts from the renowned Swansea Physics Theory group. This group, founded by the legendary David Olive, is globally acclaimed for its groundbreaking research.

Highlights of My Course – BSc Theoretical Physics
The course exceeded my expectations in many ways, but my favourite aspects were:
• Exceptional Teaching: The faculty's dedication and expertise made learning both enjoyable and enriching.
• Challenging Modules: Courses like ‘Gravity’ and ‘Mathematical Methods’ were both fascinating and intellectually stimulating.
• Final Year Dissertation: This project provided a glimpse into what pursuing a master’s or Ph.D. programme would be like, allowing for one-on-one interaction with top researchers.

Life at Swansea
Swansea University boasts a vibrant and friendly student community. Throughout my three years, I never met a single person I didn’t like. Living in the halls, I formed lifelong friendships. The student union offers a diverse range of societies; I joined the Physics and Rock-Climbing societies, where I had some of the best social experiences of my life.

Future Plans
Thanks to the excellent education I received at Swansea, I am set to continue my academic journey with a master's degree in theoretical physics at Cambridge University this October. My goal is to attain a Ph.D. and become a researcher in theoretical physics.

Recommendation
I highly recommend this course to anyone passionate about physics, eager to learn, and curious about the Universe at all scales. Swansea University provides an outstanding environment to nurture your academic and personal growth.
