Dr Eeshani Bendale

During my undergraduate degree, I had made up my mind to study Nanomedicine as it was the subject that sparked my interest and intrigue the most. However, it was very challenging to find a course that catered to my exact needs. I was over the moon when I found the MSc in Nanomedicine offered by Swansea University Medical School and even happier when I got accepted. During my course, I gained an extremely valuable learning experience as well as the satisfaction of advancing my knowledge and research skills. The tutors were super helpful, and I will always cherish all our academic discussions as well as our friendly chats. I could reach out to them any time for any concern of mine or any new ideas that I had.

My life at Swansea was a stepping stone in my career as well as my personal growth. Swansea has a special place in my heart. I will always remember my beach runs, karaoke nights at JC’s and late-night chats with my hall mates. I stayed in a hall on Singleton Campus and had some of my best memories there. I became friends with my hall mates and the times I had with them were amazing and will always be very dear to me. I think I have made some wonderful friendships for life.

Swansea provided me with the platform that I was looking for in relation to my work in Ayurvedic Nanomedicine. I am forever grateful to Swansea for moulding me into the person who I am today. I am now pursuing an MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care from the University of Oxford. I urge anyone who is looking for an amazing university experience to apply to Swansea University. I promise – you will love it!
