About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to become part of the Future Student Experience Team at Swansea University, acting as the first point of contact for prospective students and their influencers, and providing excellent customer service and experience across a range of enquiry channels.  The post-holder will play a key role in supporting our Future Students through their applicant journey, from initial enquiry and application through to enrolment and induction. 

We are seeking pro-active, dynamic, and friendly team players who are passionate about service excellence and customer focused support within a busy team environment.

As an Enquiries Assistant, you will develop a detailed and up-to-date knowledge of Swansea University, its courses, and programmes, and of admissions processes and supporting systems, enabling personalised and responsive resolutions to a variety of enquiries and themes.  You will also support the smooth referral and escalation of more complex enquiries, through effective teamworking with colleagues, managers, and related functions across the University.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
